An annual summertime intensive, comprising consecutive workshops in bookbinding and related fields.
We are very sorry to have to announce that Book Camp will not be taking place in 2024.
Please contact info@bookcamp.co.uk for further information.
During this hiatus, take a look at Dragon Press Bindery (Book Camp’s host)
for an alternative summer event.
Book Camp’s founders are bookbinding and book conservation professionals who have established this educational venture as a response to the need for continuing professional development in an age when formal learning opportunities are becoming scarce.
By gathering over eight days our classes are intended to benefit those wishing to expand their bookbinding skills and techniques with participants enjoying a unique experience of learning and exchanging ideas, immersed in the craft.
We will share meals (included in the registration fee) and enjoy informal presentations in the evenings, followed by time around the camp fire. There will be a celebratory BBQ on the final evening.
