Book Camp & Covid-19
Update 02 February 2021
We have moved to Carmarthenshire!
Our host, Dragon Press Bindery, has relocating to Wales in January!
Please check back for updated details.
We look forward to welcoming you in our new home for Book Camp 2021.
Eight days of summertime immersive bookbinding, comprising four two-day workshops with a celebratory BBQ on the final Saturday evening.
Enrolment is flexible on an individual basis: come for just one class; return for another; stay for all...
Book Camp’s founders are bookbinding and book conservation professionals who have established this educational venture as a response to the ever-increasing need for continuing professional development for binders and conservators, in an age when formal learning opportunities are becoming scarce.
By gathering over eight days, we hope that our four intensive workshops held together will benefit those wishing to expand their bookbinding skills and techniques, with participants enjoying a unique experience of learning and exchanging ideas, immersed in the craft.
We will share meals (included in the registration fee) and enjoy informal presentations in the evenings, followed by time around the camp fire.
We look forward to seeing you in June!
