Welcome to Book Camp

Book Camp & Covid-19

Update - 30 April 2020

Sadly, Book Camp 2020 must be cancelled. The programme of workshops intended for this summer will now take place next year at Book Camp 2021 (5-13 June). Please check back shortly for full details. We look forward to meeting in happier times.

Eight days of summertime immersive bookbinding, comprising four two-day workshops with a celebratory BBQ on the final Saturday evening.
Enrolment is flexible on an individual basis: come for just one class; return for another; stay for all...
Book Camp’s founders are bookbinding and book conservation professionals who have established this educational venture as a response to the ever-increasing need for continuing professional development for binders and conservators, in an age when formal learning opportunities are becoming scarce.

By gathering over eight days, we hope that our four intensive workshops held together will benefit those wishing to expand their bookbinding skills and techniques, with participants enjoying a unique experience of learning and exchanging ideas, immersed in the craft.

We will share meals (included in the registration fee) and enjoy informal presentations in the evenings, followed by time around the camp fire.

We look forward to seeing you in June!
